BioHaving recently graduated from NYU with a degree in English and American Literature and Religious Studies, on a lark I applied to a program that allows me the opportunity to familiarize myself with a part of the world yet unknown.
I currently reside in the prefecture Iwate (northern Japan) in a town of 3,000 people just beyond Kuji City. I will be teaching English to japanese school children while applying to graduate school and embracing a culture and language I have only read about.
May my story reflect my experiences.
May I prove magnanimous during the
most arduous of moments and
allow my eyes to be opened.
May I recognize human limitation.
Finally, may I never cease
to delight in life...
